Women Can Vote but Not Smoke WEED

90 years ago today, women, none of you were allowed to vote! That sucks, doesn’t it? You know what else sucks…many of you can’t even use a non-toxic, healing herb to ease the aches and pains associated with OPPRESSION.

It’s crazy, isn’t it? Denying someone a basic civil right based on their plumbing? What the fuck is up with that? Who chooses to be a girl? Uh, NOBODY. okay, well, some people do, but whatever. Fuck, man how absurd is it to deny anyone, especially women, the basic HUMAN RIGHT of maintaining good health?

“One of the very most basic of human rights is the right to be healthy and to take care of your health. Nature in all of her wisdom gave us  a cure for every ailment there is and every human being has a nature given, a god given, a goddess given right to use the plants that nature has given us,” says Steve DeAngelo, Executive Director of the Harborside Health Center in Oakland, California. “Not only do I think it’s a civil right, but it’s beyond a civil right to a fundamental human right that something belongs to all of us simply because we were born human beings and our brains have receptors for canabinoids in them.

History tells us that it’s womens fault, why marijuana is illegal. And, it tells us marijuana is illegal especially because of white women! Why? we’ll tell you why, it’s because some motherfucker said “marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes, entertainers and any others.”

What the fuck? No, we’re not kidding. That motherfucker’s name was Harry J. Anslinger the first Commissioner of the Treasury Department’s Federal Bureau of Narcotics back in the 30′s which ultimately morphed into the corrupt DEA of today. He was self-appointed, by the way. You see, marijuana was made illegal…just to give racists something tangible to use to DIRECTLY discriminate against African Americans and WOMEN! The ban on weed is rooted in MISOGYNY!

And, Reefer Madness continues to malign women to this day! Reefer Madness forces women to use noxious pharmaceuticals to deal with menstrual pain, it forces women to use toxic, harmful chemicals to balance their brain chemistry like Prozac, or Wellbutrin, or Fuckitol. It causes women to feel guilty about medicating. It does absolutely no good.

Now that you do have the right to vote…it’s time to exercise that right and vote to legalize marijuana. By voting to legalize marijuana your voting to end Reefer Madness and marijuana misogyny!
