QUESTION: Yo, My Grow Lights Too Low? I just picked up some purple kush clones from the club. They’re short and squatty, so I moved my 600 watt HPS light to about a foot and a half above them and they look a little shriveled. I moved the light up about another two feet. Was the light too close?

MEL THOMAS: The best way to check if your lights are too close to the plants is to test it with the back of your hand. Put your hand next to the top of the plant, if its too hot for your hand the lamps need moving up.
