Romulan is SSL

Romulan is one of those funny legendary strains where the exact lineage is unknown. That could probably be said for the majority of the weed strains people smoke. Not that it’s legendary, but that they have no idea what it really is. From what I’ve read, Federation seeds got it back in 96 and crossed it with White Rhino, then back bred until it was nice and stable. But again, who really knows.

The Romulan pistils are a burnt orange tone which adds some lovely contrast to all the shimmering goodness waiting to take you to funky town

Appearance and Feels: Romulan has a lighter green bud structure with darker green leaves. Under a light you can really see the trichomes. The pistils are a nice burnt orange tone which adds some lovely contrast to all the shimmering goodness waiting to take you to funky town.

Arbor has their grow game on point—their Romulan strain has a sweet, piney, fruity smell

Smell: This weed right out of the jar has one of the stronger aromas I’ve reviewed in a while. The newer harvest date definitely helps, but I also think Arbor has their grow game on point. Their Romulan strain has got a sweet, piney, almost fruity smell. When you run it through the grinder there’s nothing but pine trees smacking you in the face.

Mat Lee: The Romulan is pretty tasty weed yo

Flavor: The Romulan is pretty tasty weed yo. Pine comes out fresh and in front, followed by an almost sweet spicy back end. The smoke is full and joints hit pretty hard. Through a bong it really just tastes like good bud, only a little sweeter. Not bad at all. The spice comes out a bit more when mixed up in a spliff. It compliments the tobacco quite nicely.

High: This is where some people say they feel a more sativa like high. I personally think it varies from person to person, and preconceptions about what it should or shouldn’t feel like have a lot to do. It’s all about the framing. After a joint to myself and a little Battlefront on the PS4 (thecompound406 add me!) it had felt like I was caught up in a battle on Hoth for ages. But really, it was only 15 minutes. I love the time dilation aspect of getting blazed and completely lost in a cool video game experience. Smoking weed named Romulan definitely helped.

The Triple Crown Romulan is a fantastic addition to any chilled out Saturday

Overall: The Triple Crown Romulan is a fantastic addition to any chilled out Saturday. As with all strains above 20% THC, if you are a new smoker, take it easy on the Roumlan until you know how your endocannabinoid system will handle the higher dose of THC.

But if you’re like me and handle your shit on the daily, the Romulan strain is a good all day smoke. Definitely stuff stoners like.

For SSL, I’m Mat Lee.

I am SO interested in a strain that is about 90/10 CBD to THC. I am in chronic pain and despite I live in MD where it is supposed to be legal, it is on the other side of the state. Where I live I’m still a criminal for smoking to help with pain. Can anyone advise the strain that is mostly CBD (still need that anti-anxiety property )? Thank you!
