Qualified Illinois marijuana patients or their caregivers can posses up to 2 ounces of weed, but the language allowing up to six plants, no more than 3 of which can be mature cannabis plants….has been removed from the bill! Maybe because Illinois can’t tax that shit?
Also added to the bill was new language requiring dispensaries to be nonprofit entities and to “control the doses of the drug”. And, the creation of an Orwellian database of users so law enforcement can spy-on, monitor patients. The watered-down bill now moves on along to the House floor.
