The Stuff Stoners Like Manifesto

Most people just assume marijuana is outlawed and demonized as a result of science, medical facts, or government hearings and that ultimately it was made illegal to protect citizens from what was determined to be a dangerous drug. Actually, those who voted on the legal fate of cannabis never had the facts and were dependent on misinformation supplied by those who had a specific agenda to deceive lawmakers. The sad history of marijuana’s criminalization includes:

• Racism
• Fear
• Protection of Corporate Profits
• Yellow Journalism
• Ignorant, Incompetent, and/or Corrupt Legislators
• Personal Career Advancement and Greed

These are the actual reasons marijuana is illegal. And, here’s what we’re doing about it…

As the Marijuana Movement continues to progress Stuff Stoners Like exists to document stoner and marijuana culture both past and present as well as report and comment on its changes, transgressions and progressions with passion, sincerity and above all honesty. To give back to the community we adore, Stuff Stoners Like also exists to actively participate in changing current marijuana laws. Through this we have come to value:

• Accountability over Passing the Buck
• Healing over Profit
