Where Weed Comes From

QUESTION: “Is it land race or landrice strain? And what is it?”
Dru West: It is definitely Land race. A land race strain is one that is still true to it’s original genetics. Meaning, it developed naturally in a specific, remote part of the world and has never been cross-pollinated with another strain. Most of the cannabis we smoke today originated from these strains, and seed companies are making a huge effort to preserve and catalog them while they still can.
