Thanks to the breeders at The Cali Connection this elite strain has become available throughout the California medical cannabis scene. According to The Cali Connection the lineage is San Fernando Valley OG Kush [F3] x Larry Kush clone.
Price: $40 a gram.
Appearance: Similar to caramel with a yellow-green tinge. At a glance it appears to be quite melty, but it’s actually a breeze to load on the dabber.
Smell: The terpene retention is absolutely phenomenal with this batch. The first sniff reveals lemon, pine, and diesel fuel aromas that distinguish OG’s from the rest of the pack.
Flavor: To quote Will Ferrel (Frank The Tank) from the movie Old School, “So good once it hits your lips, SO GOOD!” On the inhale it’s sour and piney, while the exhale and aftertaste are fruity and sweet. If Larry David sampled Larry OG he’d say, “It tastes pretty good. Pret-ty pret-ty pret-ty pretty good.”
High: Larry OG is an ideal med to use in the morning when you’re trying to get the day started. The effects are a sublime mix of energy and euphoria, segueing later into a meditative calm. Peace in Medicine lists the high as Blissful Mind, and let me tell you they really hit the quartz nail on the head with that description.
Buzz Length: HOURS! Strong enough that even I completely lost track of time… Let’s just say 4 hours minimum. In other words this melt is über potent.
Medical Uses: Larry OG should be effective in treating conditions such as A.D.D/A.D.H.D, anxiety, depression, inflammation in the body, and Multiple Sclerosis.
Overall: It’s smooth on the draw, smells and tastes fantastic, and the effects are out of this world. With a melt this good you’re faced with a classic stoner dilemma. You could try rationing it out over time, but of course all good things must come to an end eventually. The better strategy is to simply enjoy it while it lasts, especially since most people never get to enjoy cannabis concentrates of this quality.
