Hell YA! Ex-toker, California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, just DECRIMINALIZED the possession of marijuana here in California!
Don’t get us wrong, WEED still ain’t legal, in CA, yet, but this does mean, getting caught with up to a full ounce of WEED is no longer a misdemeanor offense starting January 1. Sure you’ll still have to pay that $100 fine, about the cost of a doctor’s recommendation to legally smoke WEED, but you won’t have to show up for that mandatory appearance in front of a judge…sort of like how a speeding ticket works.
Once the law takes effect, California won’t be wasting any more cash on judges or attorneys or administrative costs and shit. Last year alone more than 60,000 Californians were busted for possessing weed…looks like that shit’s about to change! Smoking WEED is NOT a crime!
