Yep, Palin was talking about weed with Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex) on the Fox Business Network last night along with other respresentatives from their movement in what they call the Tea Party Summit; a discussion about how they view certain sensitive issues, one of ‘em being weed. Palin has said she has smoked weed in the past but didn’t really dig it and doesn’t smoke anymore. “I can’t claim a Bill Clinton and say that I never inhaled,” she told the Anchorage Daily News in 2006.
Anyhow, even though she’s not pro legalization, she’s definitely for decriminalizing weed. “Law enforcement should not focus its energy on the minimal problem of marijuana,” she continued. “I’m not for the legalization of pot,” Palin said. “I think that would just encourage our young people to think that it was OK to go ahead and use it. However I think we need to prioritize our law enforcement efforts,” she said. Around 6:45 in the talking heads video below is when she starts discussing her pot points.

It's not her the decrimi. side needs. It's the idiots to whom she has relevance. So, in my view, red rover, red rover send Palin and the dumb-ass sheep she panders to, right the hell over.
This is probably the first thing ive heard Palin say that made sense.
Palins attitude is the same as Obama's but the problem is that the police will keep arresting people until it is legal. I know frst hand as I am facing Life in prison for a legal Collective here in San Diego. I like Ron Paul he has a clue and the Judge is right on target.
Sarah Palin is an idiot. But it's nice to see she's moving towards the right side of this issue. Only because I think it represents a real sea change in middle America's attitude towards marijuana.
People just aren't buying the anti-pot propaganda anymore. Everyone who knows anything knows that marijuana is just not that big of a deal.
I find it funny that she says she doesn't want it legalized because of kids, yet everyone I know who was a kid used to be able to get anything and everything they wanted...and that was 30 years ago!
Now there are far worse things out there that are also available at EVERY local high school. Why? PROHIBITION has removed any controls over who distributes any "prohibited item", and that leaves criminals to do the distribution.
For those who didn't know, criminals are only interested in the money...they don't care who they hurt, so long as they profit in the end.
