Appearance and Feel: Just like everything else coming out of this Spokane Valley farm, the packaging of the Golden Pineapple is on point. Bright, vivid, guaranteed to draw your customers attention right to it like a moth to the flame. Or a flame to a spliff.

Once you get into the jar, the buds look neon green, sort of reminiscent of the Jack Herer I reviewed from them here a while ago. Same gorgeous color, same amazing trichome coverage. They aren’t as dense as the other strains, but sometimes that’s how the buds grow.

As you can tell from the pictures, up close it’s like a sandy beach. I would have made another winter reference, but it’s the Golden Pineapple yo, have you ever seen pineapples grow in the snow? Me either.

Smell: As soon as you open the jar a piney pineapple-esque sweet citrusy smell comes at you with the quickness. Once you break it apart, the smell lingers making the room smell like the Pineapple Express ran through. Once it goes in the grinder piney smell is overwhelming, outlined by the citrus and tropical smells this trichome covered strain is known for.

ML “Holy shit you guys, that Golden Pineapple taste though”

Flavor: Holy shit you guys, that taste though! This is definitely some tasty cannabis right here. It’s more piney than anything, so don’t be surprised if you see a terpene profile on this one with a lot of Pinene.

Definitely some citrusy pineapple notes to it as well, but it’s hard to get over how piney it is. Such a sweet tasting strain. Way more pine than apple. It’s got a super smooth smoke that lets you take some massive bong rips. I highly recommend it, assuming you have a system that is primed and ready to handle the Golden Pineapple.

High: Bong rips gave me a nice rush of relaxation and a soothing calm head change. At 24% this is definitely going to be one for the new smokers to take a taste of, then set it down for a bit.

I know I include this sort of warning in all of my latest reviews, but I feel like it’s important that new smokers know what they are getting in for. You can absolutely enjoy these higher cannabinoid content having top shelf strains, just measure your dose accordingly. When I say measure your dose, I mean take a hit, then see how you feel. You can always smoke more, but you can never smoke less, if that makes sense.

Overall: Check out this great article over on Cannabis Chronicles about Grow Op Farms to find out more about this heavenly place all of this amazing cannabis is coming from.

I’m not even really a fan of pineapple at all, but this shit right here is so tasty, it won itself a place in the top shelf of my heart. It’s got a great look, smell, and taste. Plus, those trichomes! Did you even see them? I’m working on getting some sort of microscope attachment so we can start drooling over the trichomes themselves. But for now, enjoy these macro shots.

Golden Pineapple is definitely STUFF STONERS LIKE

I’m going to start dumping all the pictures into a Google Photo album on the Hot Box account, so you can enjoy slideshows of them. I’ll drop a link in the comments when that’s all done. We’ll have an album with each strain.
