Because marijuana’s legal there, dude and well, because there is a ton of supply in the weed market. According to an analysis by Convergex the average price of an 1/8th ounce of consumer cannabis has dropped from $50-$70 to $30-$45 since last year—ounces sell for between $250 and $300 on average compared to $300-$400. Why the drop? The main reason for cheaper cannabis cited by Convergex is increased competition.
So in Colorado, where weed’s a plenty, an ounce will be cheaper than in a place where it ain’t. Anyhow if you want numbers from us here in Oakland, California—we’ve got ’em for ya. So it’s all relative, man.

You should get about 18 joints out of an oz! I always pack mine with about 1.5-1.7 grams because I like to take my time when I medicate
An ounce is about 28.3495 grams and I would roll with 1.7 grams roughly so I would guess about 17 slow burning joints for a great time to relax.
