So You want to know how to get rid of the smell of weed in your car? You decided to hotbox the car and now every time someone gets in gets in for a ride they comment that it smells like weed. To me that’s a good thing and means there’s a friendly around, but to a lot of people it might not hold such a positive reference point in their mind.

So how long does weed smell linger? How do you get weed smell out of your car? As stoners who smoke weed on the daily like good ol uncle Nate Dogg said, become smell blind to weed. Not to the point where we don’t smell weed at all, but to the point of being desensitized to the smell. Unless there’s been some fresh flower flamed up in my ride since the last time I got out of it, and there’s a good chance there has been, I’m not smelling it. But those who don’t smoke weed on the daily are much more sensitive to that funky skunky sexy cannabis smell. Especially if they are looking for it. Ahem, pigs, ahem.

How to get weed smell out of car

Obviously the best way to get rid of the smell of weed, especially in a confined space like a vehicle, is to just not smoke weed in the whip in the first place. I know, that’s dumb and everyone who smokes weed does it, but you don’t necessarily have to combust flower to get the same effects. Just like if you were to smoke weed in a hotel room without taking the proper paranoid measures. You are more likely to get hassled than if you were just taking dabs, or using a vaporizer.

The same applies to your ride. I feel like you are a lot less likely to get hassled if you were using a vape pen or something similar rather than burning actual flower. But of course, as road weary stoners, we know nothing goes better with the open road and some road tripping music than some good flower. I love when there’s a nice weed smell in car.

It also comes down to how paranoid you are about that weed smell in the car. Honestly, you could probably just make yourself one of those pine tree air fresheners that hang from the rear view, and make it say weed scented. If you ever get pulled over and the officer wants to hassle you, just point to the air freshener and send him or her on their way with a handshake and a smile.

How to get the weed smell out of your car w/Ozium

There’s a couple other ways that will at least help. But again remember, if they are looking for something to bust you with, they’ll make some shit up if they have to. It’s their game. Have you ever heard of Ozium? It is some powerful shit. Very stoner approved. I have a friend who thinks is quite hilarious to spray it in the car when we’re driving. If anyone can smell anything, let alone weed after a blast of Ozium they are making shit up. Or they are some sort of alien.

You can also check out that Febreze new car smell. Everything smells better with Febreze. At least that’s what you would think after smelling some of my old bedrooms. Not only will it make your clothes soft, but it will also help cover up that weed smell. Some people even like to take dryer sheets and stuff them in a tube to blow their weed hits through. As silly as that might sound it actually works pretty good. And it is most likely responsible for the majority of stoners who graduated college. Without it there would have been trouble.

There’s also some natural enzyme clear that’s good for pets that should also work nicely on a car or room. But this isn’t exactly something you can mist while driving in the event a cop pulls you over or something. This is more a clean up maneuver after the sesh. Ozium and Febreze though, that’s how to get weed smell out of your car.
