Lavender Strain Review
Review by: Mat Lee
From: Mr Doobees. Address is 2870 Ocean Avenue, Building #4 Raymond, WA. Highway 101 – between Raymond & South Bend. Phone: 360-875-8016
Farm: Blewett Pass Farms
Harvest Date: 3/8/15
Sativa vs Indica: 20% Sativa 80% Indica
Content: THCA 21.34% | CBD .15%
Genetics: Super Skunk X Big Skunk Korean X Afghani Hawaiian. I also found some information that says it goes by the name Soma #10.
Appearance: Extremely light colored buds, quite frosty with a ever so slight purplish lavender tint on the leaves. I’m impressed at how tall the trichomes stand on this bud, and how much of it they cover. Beautiful stuff. I can only imagine what the plants themselves looked like.
Smell: A very woody smell with a diligently subtle sweet flower bouquet type smell. There’s also a detectable hint of something spice like in there.
Flavor: It carries some of the woody smell into the taste, which when mixed with the flowery aroma makes for a nice smoke. Not too overpowering, not too light. The sweet tastes step forward when smoked out of a joint, and even more so out of the bong. It’s also another one of those great crystally strains that go hand in hand with Danish Export rolling tobacco.
High: First thing in the morning it’s a nice heady change, after a joint and a spliff I have a good morning buzz going. Distinguishably relaxed, yet still able to get whatever work done the day throws my way. It’s not a very long lasting buzz, but that’s my fault. I’m sure if I quit smoking weed for a few weeks, then came back to review all the weeds I’ve reviewed, they would all be tens, and no one would see me for like a week.
Overall: Another top notch strain from our friends over at Mr Doobees. I definitely recommend this for any stoner, but as always, if you are new to the weed stuff and still working on getting your endocannabinoid system primed, take it easy.
This one is more than strong enough to plant your dick firmly in the dirt if you let it. There is also certain phenotypes of Lavender that get up into the whole percent level of CBD. One percent doesn’t sound like much, but when you are talking medicinal properties, and when combined with the rest of the cannabinoids and terpenes, is usually enough to do it’s job.
Patients in the medical sector say it helps greatly with stress, anxiety, depression, and is prescribed for PTSD, adult ADD/ADHD as well as obsessive compulsive behavior. Most definitely Stuff Stoners Like.

I use as a 3rd line drug for diabetic peripheral neuropathy pain. With the clinical meds amitriptyline and Lyrica, my pain is controlled about 90%, I’ll still have pain that will explode for about 4 hours then I need something beyond my prescription meds and that is either kratom or weed depending on whether or not I have to drive or otherwise have high functionality. When weed, I’m just very pleased with how well Lavender both reduces the subjective pain level by about 5 notches and helps make me drowsy and ready for sleep, usually with pleasant adventurous dreams.
