“The Oregon Cannabis Tax Act” looked to tax and regulate marijuana for all adults. By taxing weed, Oregon’s measure 80, which was endorsed by Willie Nelson, could have amounted to an extra $140 million a year for the state. Instead they decided to revert back to their original model for generating revenue: busting STONERS. This citizen’s initiative would have also eliminate all wasted spending on weed-related law enforcement. And it would have also restored the industrial hemp industry.

Sorry guys, we know how it feels. Prop 19 was defeated here in California a few years ago.
