Jack Herer is a Sativa-dominant hybrid strain of cannabis. It is a cross between Haze, Northern Lights #5, and Shiva Skunk. As a Sativa-dominant strain, it tends to produce more energizing and uplifting effects. This makes it a popular choice for daytime use. Jack H stats
Appearance: This sample of Jack Herer is quite dense, frosty, hairy, lovely dark buds. Buds you could be best buds with. Not necessarily the best buds, but damn fine buds. There was probably a few buds in the batch that could have been best buds. At a certain point it all becomes relative. Especially when speaking in quantum leaps and bounds.
Smell: Earthy at first until you crack the bud open, then it’s a rush of piney pungent skunky goodness. There also seems to be a slight hint of something spicey. The mixture is aromatically delightful to my sniffer. I’m excited to mix this up with a little Danish Export and blaze up a spliff.
Flavor: The Jack Herer strain delivers a nice full smoke with an earthy taste. I’m still getting those hints of spice, but they are far more subtle than the aroma it gives off. The piney flavor is definitely there, as is the skunky flavor. It’s exceptionally smooth in a spliff.
High: That first bong hit of this Jack Herer strain, especially for a high noon wake and bake, is the stuff Stuff Stoners Like dreams are made from. Heavy handed with the gusto of a tornado it snaps, filling up your lungs with that piney skunky goodness Jack Herer weed is known for. As soon as you exhale, that head change knocks on your door with a couple of its friends, and it wants to hang out… On the couch.
Especially if you are a relatively new or light smoker. That goes for any 20% or higher strain, so when you smoke, make sure you have a comfortable couch to land on, and some nice soft dirt to plant your dick in. That’s right, on the Faded Scale, the Jack is definitely pants off dance off dick in the dirt status.
Conclusion
This is a fantastic version of a fantastic strain that takes its name from the legendary activist and author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes. The Jack Herer strain earns every bit of the 8 out of 10 I’m giving it. Between the taste, the smell, and the buzz, this 50 / 50 hybrid is a well balanced choice to live on the top shelf. If you live in Washington, The Liberty Reach Jack Herrer is found over at Growers Outlet, and other fine weed shops.
