I also reviewed Dutch Treat from a different farm in an earlier post if you want to check out how they compare. I find it interesting that these buds look similar to the Dutch Treat from Green Valley Society, but have a completely different smell.

Appearance: The Dutch Treat appears as some of the tightest, most dense nugs I’ve seen in a few. This is the kind of bud that you need to break up before you toss into a bong bowl, because it’s so thick and dense you’ll flip the bowl seven times and still not get it all done. This stuff is really something to behold. On top of smelling this bud, you really need to hold it in your hand and see for yourself. It’s definitely stuff stoners like.

Smell: This Dutch Treat smells almost exactly like Jack Herer. It’s got that lemon lime Sprite smell to it. It’s not as in your face as the last strain of Jack I reviewed from Phat Panda, but it’s so noticeable it’s the image that comes to mind when I smell it. There’s also a nice pungent earthy smell to it. Once you break the buds open it’s all lemon lime loud luster.

Flavor: Out of the bong the Dutch Treat has a lovely taste that puts the lemon lime smell backseat to a more earthy robust skunk smoke filled with pungent piney goodness. There’s definitely a hint of lime on the exhale, but it’s mostly laid down and covered in a blanket of earthy skunky bold flavor. Joints and spliffs bring out the skunky lemon lime taste, as long as you aren’t using shitty papers.

High: Woof, first thing in the morning on a day off is how to review this stuff. Holy crap you guys, if you like the Jack, you’ll definitely enjoy the Dutch Treat. I hate to compare strains like that, but since it was something I had recently reviewed, it was fresh in my mind, and when I opened the bag and that smell came out, it was like pattern recognition overload. Plus hey, it’s all weed right?

The Dutch Treat lays out a blanket on a warm summer day and tries to have a picnic with you. It’s like hey buddy, relax. Let’s hang out here for a while and stare at the clouds. A great sunny day bud to go get, now all we need is a sunny day. Although smoking it and chilling on a couch with your favorite stoner movie is also a great way to enjoy the Dutch Treat.
Dutch TreatOverall: I have two strains to review from Doc Croc, and so far they both look like top shelf goodness. The other strain is a Pink Pez, which you can find in a review here. The Dutch Treat has a great heady high with a fantastic taste that leaves you wanting more. It probably just leaves me wanting more because I only got an 3.5 grams of it. I always want more, especially when it’s stuff stoners like.

For SSL, I’m Mat Lee.
