I reviewed the Artizen Grape Ape a while back. I’m not going to go into the Grape Ape weed genetics again, but if you are curious, check it out. Also, you should know this is one of the most popular weed strains on the web—according to Google that is—we don’t keep track of that shit.
Appearance and Feels: It’s always interesting to review the same strain, from two different farms. All the different possible variables have an effect on how the plant will grow and perform. These buds are quite dense and the trichomes look like they are waiting with baited breath to take you on a date to cloud nine.

Beautifully hand trimmed, and it really shows.

All calyx here, if you want that sweet leaf you might want to look elsewhere. This is some bud that almost gave the Phoenician Grinder a little trouble. Almost. It’s just that thick and dense. I would definitely recommend breaking this shit up before packing a bowl, otherwise you’re going to be in for a forever bowl, which isn’t as fun or awesome as one might think.

Smell: Mmm, this Grape Ape smells like something I want to smoke on all day long. One of the many perks of reviewing cannabis I suppose. I’m just trying to live the way Nate Dogg said we should. Smoke weed every day.

Speaking of terpenes, the terpene profile on this shit right here is nice. I don’t have an actual lab terp profile, but my nose is telling me there’s a lot of happy smelling stuff waiting to be unleashed into your brain via the entourage effect. Grapey, but more grapefruit than actual grape I’m thinking. Once through the grinder the smell is so much stronger, and so much better.

Flavor: There’s a reason this herb went right into the 420 Science Fire jar as soon as I was done shooting it. This cannabis tastes so good. I’ve said it before, but I wish there was a way to convey taste and smell over the internet like we can audio and video. You’ll just have to go find some of your own and see for yourself.

High: Woof, this is some good weed. At just under 20% THC you would expect nothing less. That is of course, assuming there is a nice entourage effect happening from the terpenes involved. This strain has them both.

Also, don’t think that because I haven’t been doing weed reviews in a while, that my tolerance has dropped because I have somehow stopped smoking as much weed. You can all rest assured that I’m smoking just as much weed regardless of if I’m actively reviewing it or not. Trust me, it’s much less time consuming to blaze cannabis that doesn’t require a photo shoot and several hundred words done up about it beforehand.

Back to the task though, this Grape Ape weed definitely has me happy. I would take it easy if you are one of those new smokers joining the rest of us. As with most strains that show higher percentages, start small. You can always take more rips, but if you take too many at once, you can’t take less. Does that make sense? I’m stoned.

Grape Ape is pure Stuff Stoners Like

Overall: I would say if you have a chance to smoke some of this Two Heads Grape Ape, you definitely should. It’s tasty, smells good, looks amazing, and has a great high. I’m definitely a fan of the majority of the cannabis that comes out of that farm. Hopefully I’ll have some more of their warez to review soon. For now, go get some, and blaze one for the nation. It’s definitely stuff stoners like.

For SSL, I’m Mat Lee.
