The process of making THC e liquid involves two stages—create a potent cannabis concentrate then transform that concentrate into an e-liquid (the same kind found in e-cigarettes, without the nasty nicotine). In order to make marijuana e liquid you’ll need:

• A minimum of 3.5 grams of high quality loose leaf bud.
• EJ Mix. This a special food grade mix of Propylene Glycol used to transform cannabis concentrates into a liquid form that’s less viscous than traditional e-liquid bases used in most cannabis e-juice recipes.
• High Proof (190+) Grain Alcohol (Everclear, the booze—not the band, will work).
• Blunt Tip Syringes. These things are essential, dude.
• Some dropper bottles (these cobalt blue ones work well and prevent sunlight exposure)
• Optional: Lorann Hard Candy Flavoring Oils (this is what e-cigarette liquid dudes use, we recommend all-natural weed flavored e juice.)
• Coffee Filters
• Parchment Paper
• 2 Mason jars. Larger jars are better for making and storing a lot of cannabis e liquid. Opaque jars better prevent light from degrading the marijuana e liquid.
• A pot large enough to submerge half a mason jar.
• A hot plate—no flames, dude.

To make THC e liquid you’ll need a very well ventilated work space. Use only an electric stove. Don’t use a gas stove and definitely do NOT make it near an open flame. Don’t blow yourself up, man. Making marijuana e juice ain’t worth dying over, dude.

MAKING THC e LIQUID STAGE 1

Grind your bud and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 220. Bake the bud for about twenty-five to forty-five minutes until it turns light brown.

Once the bud’s been decarboxylated place it into a mason jar. Add enough alcohol to cover the bud by a half-inch.

Seal the jar and store it in a cool dark place for at least 48 hours (longer the better) giving it a light shake each day.

After at least 48 hours has passed remove the jar grab the other mason jar, 2 syringes and a coffee filter.

Unscrew the blunt tip needles from the syringes. Remove the plunger from one and insert half a coffee filter. Use the other syringe to draw liquid from the first mason jar and squirt it into the syringe containing the filter. Replace the plunger and squirt it through the filter into the second jar. Repeating for remaining thc e juice in the jar.

Seal the jar and put it in the freezer for 48 hours allowing particles to settle.

Remove the jar from the freezer and filter it using the same steps above.

Allow the cannabis e liquid to come up to room temperature before proceeding. Seriously, heating cold alcohol can be dangerous.

Remove the lid and place the jar in a pot on the stove filled with enough water to cover half the jar. Turn on the stove vent and simmer the water watching closely until all the alcohol boils off.

Once the booze is gone you’ll have about a gram of dark, thick cannabis oil…ready to be transformed into liquid THC.

THC e Liquid STAGE 2

Place the jar containing the thc liquid in a pot on the stove. Fill the pot with a little water and bring it to just under a boil.

Using a new syringe measure 1mL of EJ Mix for every gram of concentrate inside the jar. Feel free to experiment with a little less or little more EJ Mix to alter potency.

Using your pot, fill it again to halfway with water with your mason jar containing the oil inside. I recommend putting a knife or fork at the bottom of one side of the jar so that the liquid will pool to one side (making removing it easier)

Simmer for about five minutes until all the oil is dissolved into the EJ Mix.

Using a syringe transfer the solution into a dropper bottle for storage.

Mix in a tiny bit of flavor if you want. We don’t recommend it because prefer all-natural marijuana flavored e juice.
